My dad coached our t-ball team. We played trumpet side-by-side in middle school band.
He asked me to the senior prom.
I married him on the lawn of his childhood lake house.
Our forever happy place.
When I said I wanted to leave my engineering career to follow my dream of opening a downtown decor boutique, Cody said “I’m in.”
Our journey has been a sweet one.
A “pinch me” love story that continues to get sweeter.
Cody and I will be welcoming our little girl this spring!
We don’t really know what we’re doing, but I think that’s ok.
More is caught than taught, they say.
So at least she’ll know how to follow her dreams.
