๐— ๐—˜๐—˜๐—ง ๐—›๐—”๐—ก๐—ก๐—”๐—›!

Not many know this, but the most daunting part of opening Homebody was the thought of hiring employees. Remember, my background is in engineering. I have zero retail, managing or entrepreneurial experience.
Both of my sisters have children, and in our family we joke that Homebody is ๐˜ฎ๐˜บ baby. The result of what you see on Main Street is years and years of dreaming, learning, goal setting, risk taking and manifesting. Homebody is a little piece of ๐˜ฎ๐˜ฆ.
Therefore, you can see that finding help was not simply just a task on my to-do list.
Whoever stood behind my counter would need to align with the Homebody vision. They would need to understand that we are not just making transactions and wrapping candles. We are a heart led business. People first, always.
Everybody, meet Hannah!
I will never understand how we got so lucky.
Hannah is WARMTH. She is a woman of many talents, (charcuterie boards, gift baskets and photo taking to name a few) but honestly, thatโ€™s not why I hired her. Skills can be taught. Hannah brings to Homebody her unique way of making people feel special, thought of and happy!
When youโ€™re with Hannah, you belong.

If you are walking by Homebody and hear a laugh that makes you smile, most likely Hannah is working. Stop in to hear her hilarious stories, to discover what gift basket of the day she has created or find out what latte she recommends on Main Street.
Hannah, thank you for taking a risk with this brand new entrepreneur. Thank you for completely amazing me every single day. Thank you for treating our shop as your own. For that, Iโ€™ll be forever grateful.
Hope youโ€™re ready to take on the world with us, because we are JUST getting started.
