Dried Citrus Slices

Why I love them:

Dried citrus slices are easy to make, and so versatile! They are a beautiful drink garnish, gift wrapping accessory, or garland.

They keep for several months in an airtight jar, which makes them a pantry must-have.

Oh, and they also make your home smell AMAZING as they cook.

Make yours:

Slice your favorite citrus nice and thin, and remove any seeds. I love the way that oranges and blood oranges come out, such pretty colors! Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, and bake the slices low and slow at about 170F (or the lowest setting above 150F). Bake for about 4 hours (or a little more if your slices are thick), flipping them every hour or so. When the slices feel dry, turn the oven off, but leave them in the oven for a couple more hours. Make sure the slices are completely dry before storing them in a glass jar.
